Before founding KL Staffing, Leia worked in Real Estate where she gained invaluable insight into the challenges companies face when recruiting top talent. This hands-on experience has fueled her passion for helping organizations build strong, effective teams, while also providing job seekers with meaningful career opportunities.

Keaton Harper

As Chief Business Officer at KL Staffing, Keaton has built the company around one core principle: show up for clients every single time. Known for his speed, consistency, and ability to deliver high‑quality staff in even the toughest markets. He is a problem solver, outside the box thinker, and a trusted partner. After a decade in the staffing industry, Keaton has earned a reputation as a leader who gets things done. When Keaton isn’t working, he loves spending time with friends and family, tattoos, the gym, loving his animals, and trying out new restaurants.

Alex Butler

With five years of experience in the staffing industry and three years leading operations, Alex Butler is dedicated to creating efficient processes that support both clients and the professionals they serve. As Director of Operations, Alex oversees the day-to-day operations of educational staffing services, ensuring schools receive reliable support and educators have a seamless experience from onboarding through assignment completion.

Alex believes that strong relationships, clear communication, and attention to detail are the foundation of exceptional service. Passionate about solving problems and improving workflows, Alex is committed to helping schools, educators, and the internal team succeed through dependable service and operational excellence.

Trey Johnson

As Executive Vice President, Trey not only heads up the recruiting for KL Staffing, but he is also in charge of client relations and is responsible for the “go-to-market” strategy when it comes the education sector. Having almost a decade of experience in school staffing , Trey played a vital role in the start and expansion of virtual staffing, as well as other educational staffing organizations before helping to start KL. Trey’s motto is “lead by example” , and his passion is helping school districts identify the best educators out there!

He spends his free time working out, making music and is a “dog-father” to a wonderful, adopted pup, named Athena.
